Last Chance to Visit Dubai’s UAE Flag Garden as It Closes This Weekend

Dubai’s beloved UAE Flag Garden will close for the season on Saturday, January 10, 2026, offering visitors one final weekend to experience this iconic and patriotic installation at Umm Suqeim Beach. Since its launch on October 31, 2025, the garden has been a highlight of the city’s National Month celebrations, drawing crowds with its stunning visual tribute to the UAE.

A Spectacular Display of National Pride

The garden features over 11,000 UAE national flags arranged to create a vibrant sea of red, green, white, and black along the shoreline. Viewed from above, the flags form aerial portraits of the UAE’s Founding Fathers—the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum—honoring their legacy and the nation’s unity.

Organized by Brand Dubai

Created by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, the Flag Garden has become a central part of Dubai’s winter calendar. It celebrates the country’s heritage and achievements, offering a free and accessible experience for all visitors.

Perfect Photo Opportunity

Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and the iconic Burj Al Arab, the garden is a photographer’s paradise. Families, couples, and tourists have flocked to the site to capture memorable photos, enjoy picnics on the beach, and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.

Part of National Month Celebrations

The installation aligns with the UAE’s National Month, which runs from Flag Day on November 3 through National Day and beyond. It serves as a visual symbol of patriotism and unity, complementing a series of cultural events and community festivities across the emirate.
