The garden features over 11,000 UAE national flags arranged to create a vibrant sea of red, green, white, and black along the shoreline. Viewed from above, the flags form aerial portraits of the UAE’s Founding Fathers—the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum—honoring their legacy and the nation’s unity.
Created by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, the Flag Garden has become a central part of Dubai’s winter calendar. It celebrates the country’s heritage and achievements, offering a free and accessible experience for all visitors.
